So these are some of the reasons I was gone for a bit.  I was also pretty burnt out from not taking enough time off during the summer.  Feeling burnt out doesn’t do much for the creativity or the empathy, oddly enough. Hello All!  If indeed anyone is still there!  I’m sorry I’ve been gone so long!

A new comic should be coming up shortly!  After I get home, have some dinner, unearth the scanner and all that jazz.

Things got a little busy, burnt out and over-whelming for a bit.  But now it’s the new year and things seem to be looking up!  Hooray!

I want to post comics regularly again, but have decided that they will have to change.  I’m carrying a sketch book now and will be trying to do quicker comics.  They are penciled in stick people after all… worrying about how they look is silly and was slowing me down.  I don’t know if I can commit to weekly, but we will see what we can do.  And by we I mean me… and the mice in my pockets.

More first date shenanigans. I understand that folks want (and should) talk about the hard things that happened to them.  But there are some times when it just isn’t appropriate… First dates are one of those times.  Just because I’m a social worker and know the lingo does not mean I want to hear your story on our date.

Because my brain is not cooperating.  Work has been very busy because of the heat and with so much happening it’s hard to feel obligated to put pencil to paper.

I am trying to schedule days of sitting in coffee shops and doodling.

I’ll probably have more to say once the weather is yucky again.
